Wow, wow and wow! It happened... we are OPEN!
I can't quite believe that I'm writing this... but I have my own little (and perfectly formed) salon.
Back in 2023, after lots of careful thought and emotional discussion, we went for it! We left the relative comfort and security of Service Families Accommodation and a life which we had followed for 20 + years and took a huge step. We bought a Grade 2 building in Wilton with a view to making a home and building a business, in tandem.
It's absolutely fair to say that this was a terrifying and exciting step and, at times, that it really looked like it wasn't going to happen. We stayed patient and persistent and it took just under a year but we did it!
So, here I am... a salon owner and a small business director (with big ideas).
What's next? Well, time to settle in! Time to reflect. Time to absorb this journey so far. I want to slowly and carefully build and nurture this business so it always reflects who I am, my journey (since I was 15 years old, by the way) and the quality I want to deliver for my clients.
