Anita Joy Sanders

Thirty years plus in the industry; having worked in the Midlands, beautiful Bath, stunning Edinburgh and all over Hampshire, I’ve finally settled in Wilton, Wiltshire!

Here I am!

I’m Anita and, as you may have guessed from the extensive travel, I’m married to a long-serving Serviceman.  Having spent more than 20 years travelling in support of my husband, he’s now departed the Services and we have taken the plunge, buying a stunning Grade II listed building and opening my own salon!  I ought to signpost that I am heavily supported by my gorgeous (and very patient) daughters, Constance and Nancy and you might also see ‘Ernie’, the 40kg plus Rhodesian Ridgeback ‘puppy’ in the salon, from time-to-time.

I am fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 and professionally registered as a Senior member of The Hair Council - this requires proof of working as a hairdresser for over 7 years which is a milestone which I passed some years ago!

So, what am I about?

Simple… healthy, stunning, lasting and manageable hair.

I’m here to support you in EVERY element of your haircare and this doesn’t stop when you leave the salon (or I leave you, if you take a mobile visit).

I only use the very best products (please have a read on the wonderful Maria Nila on my site); this, allied with my experience, guarantees you the result you’re looking for and that it will last!

I cannot stress strongly enough how important what I call ‘Continuing Hairworthiness’ is to me; which is an area which the industry has historically failed to focus on.  Too often, folks have departed salons with an absolutely epic ‘look’, only find it unsustainable and impossible to replicate once home.  I found this has infuriated clients; so, I focus my delivery on avoiding just this scenario.

The key is the right style for you, married to a deep understanding of who you are and what your day-to-day routine for haircare can look like!

You can expect me to work with you, in the salon and beyond, to ensure that you have the knowledge, tools and products to maintain the style and effect I leave you with - you’ll soon begin to see your visits to me as a ’top-up’ of what you’re maintaining yourself and I will always be on-hand to answer hair-related questions, after I’ve worked with you.

Please take a look around my site, which remains in development, to understand a little more about me and my operation.
